Nicholas (Nick) von Turkovich

Hello! I am a PhD candidate in the finance group at MIT Sloan. My research interests are focused on topics related to macroeconomics and finance.

Prior to MIT, I was a Senior Research Assistant in the Macro-financial Analysis section at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors and served as a research assistant to Vice Chair Clarida. In 2020, I received an MSc in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from the LSE where I graduated with distinction. In 2017, I graduated from Duke University with degrees in electrical engineering, computer science, and mathematics.

Before starting a career in academic economics and finance, I was an Associate at EY-Parthenon, focusing mainly on buy-side due diligence work in the technology, industrial, and education sectors.
